The Power of Love

Love is more than a feeling—it is a force that heals, restores, and brings us together.

Rooted in God's love, this exhibition explores five expressions of love—Agape, Eros, Philia, Storge, and Philautia—and how they heal, restore, and strengthen both ourselves and our communities. Throughout history, these forms of love have sustained Black communities in Los Angeles through faith, family, friendship, partnership, and collective care.
